I contacted Dr. Karla in March 2016 looking to improve my nutrition habits and lose extra body fat and wow, what a change it has been for the better. "When I went to see Karla in October of 2013, I was coming off of a productive yet injury prone season where I missed close to 20 games due to a hamstring injury. This hamstring injury stuck with me the entire season and I was never able to play without pain.
"In our first meeting, Karla did a couple of tests to check my mobility in my lower half. After about 5 minutes she saw that my SI joint was locked up and it made my hamstring do extra work. My hips were extremely tight and they were causing the rest of my body to feel like crap. After working with Karla for a couple months, she not only loosened my hips but also showed me exercises to maintain my hip mobility.
